Obituary for
Jeannot J. Trudel
It is profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jeannot “Jeaco” exactly 9 years to the day as his twin brother on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at the age of 67 years. Beloved husband of Colette (nee Labonté) of Timmins. Dear father Marie-José “Josée” Witt (Dereck), Joël Trudel (Kristine) and Melanie Korody (Rollland “Rolly”) all of Calgary. Cherished grandfather of Madison, Ford, Carter, Kaleb, Maëlle, Emilie and Alexandre. Left to mourn are his parents Emile and Yolande Trudel. Dear brother of Gaëtan Trudel (Maryse), feu Jean Trudel (Lucie), Liette Meunier (Vincent), Denise Trudel (Yvon Sénécal), Sylvain Trudel, Pierre Trudel (Celine De Barnadi) and Claudette Trudel (Mario Charron). He also leaves his mother-in-law Eugenie Labonté (nee Bourque) and his brothers and sister-in-law Marielle Fleury (Denis), Ghislain Labonté (Henriette) and Richard Labonté (Carole). He will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Jeannot or better known as Jeaco was a hard working man. He owned his own welding company for 20 years and Jeaco Trucking for 20 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed Hunting at his camp in Rainy River and riding his Harley. His latest project was refurbishing an old International Truck and he got to drive it around town with pride.
In his memory, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. The family will have a celebration of life at a later date. Cremation has taken place. The funeral arrangements are entrusted with the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
