Nous regrettons de vous annoncer le décès de Jeannine Landry, à l’âge de 83 ans, le mardi 23 août 2022, à Horizon Santé-Nord à Sudbury. Jeannine était une couturière bien connue et accomplie qui, comme passe-temps, aimait faire de la lecture, voyager et passer l’été en camping au Lac Rémi.
Jeannine manquera grandement à ses enfants : Carole Tanguay (John) de Kapuskasing, Michel (Corine), et Louis (Marjorie) tous d’Oshawa et; six petits-enfants : Angèle, Marc, Luc, Kayla, Nicole et Patrick; trois arrière-petits-enfants : Shawn, Alexie, et Nathan; trois frères : Normand Arseneault de Niagara-on-the-Lake, Roland Arseneault, et Léo Arseneault tous de Timmins; six sœurs : Estelle Lapointe, Edna Proulx, Marie Doré tous d’Iroquois Falls, Diane Arseneault de Montréal, Lucie Nolet d’Almonte, et Nicole Petrasek d’Ottawa; et une belle-sœur, Aline Landry de Montréal. Elle fut prédécédée par son époux, Bertrand; une fille, Barbara; trois sœurs : Lorraine Gagnon, Georgette Brouillette, et Gisèle Arseneault; et quatre frères : Denis, Émile, Jean-Marie, et Camille Arseneault.
Un service funéraire pour Jeannine aura lieu le samedi 3 septembre à 10h30 en l’église Immaculée-Conception avec Père Rémi Lessard comme célébrant. L’inhumation suivra au Cimetière de Kapuskasing. Parents et amis sont invités à joindre la famille à célébrer la vie de Jeannine à La Forge, immédiatement après l’inhumation. La famille sera très reconnaissante de dons à la Fondation des maladies du cœur ou l’Association pulmonaire comme témoignages de sympathie. ©
We regret to announce the death of Jeannine Landry at the age of 83 years, on Tuesday, August 23, 2022, at Health Sciences North, Sudbury. Jeannine was a well-known and accomplished seamstress, who in her spare time enjoyed reading, travelling, and spending her summers camping at Remi Lake.
Jeannine will be greatly missed by her three children: Carole Tanguay (John) of Kapuskasing, Michel (Corine), and Louis (Marjorie) all of Oshawa; six grandchildren: Angèle, Marc, Luc, Kayla, Nicole and Patrick; three great-grandchildren: Shawn, Alexie, and Nathan; three brothers: Normand Arseneault of Niagara-on-the-Lake, Roland Arseneault, and Léo Arseneault, all of Timmins; six sisters: Estelle Lapointe, Edna Proulx, Marie Doré all of Iroquois Falls, Diane Arseneault of Montreal, Lucie Nolet of Almonte, and Nicole Petrasek of Ottawa; one sister-in-law, Aline Landry de Montréal. Jeannine was predeceased by her husband, Bertrand; one daughter, Barbara; three sisters: Lorraine Gagnon, Georgette Brouillette, and Gisèle Arseneault; and four brothers: Denis, Émile, Jean-Marie, and Camille Arseneault.
A funeral service for Jeannine will be held Saturday, September 3, 2022, at 10:30 a.m., at the Immaculée-Conception Church, with Father Rémi Lessard officiating. Burial will follow at the Kapuskasing Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to join the family in celebrating Jeannine’s life at La Forge, immediately following the interment. The family would greatly appreciate donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Lung Association as expressions of sympathy. ©
