Jeanette Marie Babin 2022

We are saddened to announce the passing of Jeanette Marie Babin, 68, on April 11, 2022, after a short battle with melanoma.
Jeanette was predeceased by her parents, Oswald and Bessie Babin and her sisters, Joyce and Carol Ann.
She is survived by her sister, Elaine (Dave) and brothers, Len (Deb) and James (Maureen). Jeanette will be sorely missed by several nieces and nephews, particularly Katherine, Hannah, and Graham (Savannah).
Jeanette had a very interesting life. She studied cartography, was a cabinet maker, and was a talented picture framer who operated her own business in Bedford, NS. She enjoyed art, opera and travel. While Jeanette will be remembered for many wonderful things, her dedication to caring for her mother and sister, Carol, stands above the rest. She was touched by the outpouring of support from her friends, near and far, during her illness. Her sense of humour and her strength will be missed by all who knew her.
Thank you to Dr. Abboud and the palliative care team for their compassionate care.
Following Jeanette’s wishes, there will be no service. However, memorials can be made to the Cape Breton SPCA.
Words of comfort can be sent to the family at www.sydneymemorialchapel.ca or e-mail sydneymemorialchapel@ns.sympatico.ca

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Jeanette Marie Babin 2022..
