March 19, 1939 – January 16, 2022
Losing a mother doesn’t happen in a moment. It takes years to appreciate the impact of what’s gone.
Jean Ann MacPherson (Lee)
It is with deep sadness that the family of the late Jean Ann MacPherson of the Highlands announces her passing on January 16, 2022 at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville, NL, at the age of 82.

In May 1965 they moved their family to Toronto, where Jean was a stay-at-home mom raising the children, until they were older, then she went to work at Max Factor & then on to Louis Kool & Sons until they happily left and moved back to the Highlands and opened their own convenience store.

We could not have asked for any better. Your kindness and compassion shown to mom and all our family was amazing.
Funeral services have been entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing, NL. A Memorial Service to commemorate Jean’s life will be held at a later date.
Dementia is a horrible disease for any person to go through and even harder for the family members. Any donations to find a cure for this disease is the only way we can think of that would be a great way of honoring mom. Donations can be made at www.alzheimer.ca
