It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Jean MacDonald (nee MacGillivray) surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at St. Joseph’s Continuing Care Centre at the age of 93 years. Beloved wife of the late Edward MacDonald. Loving “Nan” to Kirsten Gardner (Charles), Gillian Gardner (Noreen), Morgan Gardner (Blair), Tara MacDonald (Derek) and Devin MacDonald (Emily) Cherished great-grandmother of Gardner, Reagan, Mac, Rowan, Orena, Borden, Ava, Lauren, Conner, Dwight and great-great-grandmother of Cayson. Dear mother-in-law of Dan Gardner. Dear sister of Dan MacGillivray (Debbie). Jean is predeceased by her parents; John MacGillivray and Enola MacGillivray (nee Wells), one son; Dwight MacDonald , one daughter; Pamela Gardner, two sisters; Fern and Beth. Visitation will take place on Saturday, August, 20, 2022 at Boulerice Funeral Home, 218 Montreal Road, Cornwall, ON (613-938-3888) from 9 a.m. until the time of the Funeral. Funeral will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home. Interment to follow in St. Lawrence Valley Cemetery, Ingleside. Expressions of sympathy in her memory can be made to SDG Branch – Ontario SPCA and Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.
