Peacefully at Avalon Care Centre, Orangeville on Sunday, August 14, 2022 at the age of 85. Beloved wife of William Kane. Dear mother of Mary Frances Maybee (Nigel), William (Susan), Christopher (Denise) and Allison Kane (2007). Cherished grandmother of 10 and great-grandmother of 6. Predeceased by her sister Judy Deegan. Jean will also be greatly missed by other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service will be held at Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First St., Orangeville on Friday, August 19, 2022 at 11:00 am. with Visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m.
A tree will be planted in memory of Jean in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. 20th Annual Dedication Service will be held on Sunday, September 10, 2023 at 2:00 p.m.
