Born in Dundas February 7, 1935 passed away peacefully at the Palliative Unit of JBMH on October 2, 2022. Jean was predeceased by her husband Roger. She is survived by sons Bill (Jen) of Waterdown and Harley (Jo) of Brantford. Survived by her grandchildren Harley, Alex and Logan, as well as three great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Jean will be sadly missed by her special sister-in-law Marie Wilson of Dundas. She will also be missed by her “adoptive” grandchildren Marc and Jenny.
Jean was an active member of St. James United Church in Waterdown for many years. She worked and volunteered with the Alexander Place, the Girl Guides and the Red Cross. The family would like to thank the staff of The Williamsburg for their support and friendship over the years. Also thank you to the staff of the JBMH Palliative Unit for their attentiveness and compassion. A special thank you to Paul from the Palliative Unit and for all the professionalism and care – your kindness did not go unnoticed.
