It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jean-Claude Francois Le Lay, at the Haldimand War Memorial Hospital.
Dear son to Jean-Claude and Anne Marie Le Lay of Port Colborne and devoted father to Jean-Claude Le Lay (Misty) of Ridgeway, Daniel Le Lay of Port
Colborne, Calla DiPardo (Jesse) of Welland, Cody DiPardo (Faith) of British Columbia.
Adored grandfather to Joseph-Gwen, Jayda, Julia, Jace, Mathea and Emilia. Jean-Claude will be missed by loving friend and mother of his youngest children Carmel DiPardo of Thorold, sister Jacqueline Legault (Ken) of NOTL, and sister-in-law Brenda Le Lay of Port Colborne. He will be remembered by his friend
Sue Sherwood and her family. He is survived by many cousins, nieces, loved ones and friends. Predeceased by wife Tammy Le Lay, brother Paul Le Lay and grandparents Joseph and Emelienne Le Lay.
At Jean-Claude’s request, cremation has taken place.
The Le Lay family will receive friends at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 179 Clarence Street, Port Colborne on Friday, October 28, 2022 from 12 p.m.- 2 p.m. Burial of ashes will follow the visitation with a prayer service at Mount St. Joseph Cemetery, Port Colborne at 2:30 p.m.
If so desired, memorial donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society and would be appreciated by family.
