Jean-Baptiste Cote Wednesday May 25 2022

It is with deep sadness that we announce that Jean-Baptiste passed away peacefully at ARCH on May 25, 2022, at the age of 83. He is survived by his wife Agnes. Father of Jean (Janet), Yvon and Rose Letang (Ray). Papa of Dustin, Charly, Jean-Marc, and Matthew (Uriah). G-pa of Rosalea and Kaiya.
Predeceased by his parents Raymond and Rose-Delma. Brother of Raymonde (Jean-Louis), late Claire (late Charles-Yvon), Régis (Danielle), late Marc (Solange), Agathe, late Celine, Berthe (Yves), Thomas (Rejeanne), and Romuald (Giselle). Brother-in-law of Velma, late Jean, late Robert (late Suanne), Cathy (late Régis) late Adeline (late Calvin), late Henry (Debbie), Hilda (Fred), and Harold (Laura)
He will be dearly missed by his many nieces and nephews as well as his hunting and fishing buddies.
He was well known as a very hard worker, building many homes and cottages well into his 80th year. When not working, he was on his ski-do ice fishing at his camp on Ranger Lake. He always enjoyed a good party and a cold beer, whether at a family gathering or in the bush.
As per his wishes there will be no services.
A special thank you to Dr. MacIntosh, Dr Gu, Dr. Ip and the palliative care team Dr. Apostle, Dr Booth and Dr. Bowen. Heartfelt thanks to the nursing staff on 2A at the Sault Area Hospital and the amazing and caring staff at ARCH. A very special thank you to Lisa at ARCH who showed so much compassion and support to Jean-Baptiste and his family.
If desired, the family appreciates donations to ARCH or to Tracy’s Dream.
