Jean Ann Mombourquette 2022

Jean Ann Mombourquette, born January 6, 1949, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 13, 2022, in Harbourstone Enhanced Care, Sydney.
In her younger years, Jean worked in Halifax and moved back home to Cape Breton in the late 1990s.
She is survived by the love of her life, William “Billy” Boyce. They enjoyed spending quality time with each other, going for drives, and spending time in Big Pond Centre.
Jean is also survived by her siblings, Gerard MacLeod, Theresa (Michael) Wall, Kenneth (Kelly) MacLeod and Sandra (Ronnie) Morrison; sister-in-law, Anne MacLeod; her fur baby, Mittens; stepchildren, Billy, Sean and Krista; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Johnny Mombourquette; parents, William and Josephine (MacLellan) MacLeod; brother, Bernie; and nephew, Cameron.
Many thanks to all the staff of the Irish Cove Unit at Harbourstone.
Visitation will take place at Sydney Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, from 10-11 a.m., followed by a service in the chapel at 11 a.m. with Mr. Gary Grant officiating. Interment will take place at later date.
Memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
