Obituary
It is with much sadness that we announce on behalf of the English family the death of Jean Ann English (McElroy) of Canterbury NB on Friday February 11, 2022 at the Upper River Valley Hospital at the age of 87.
Jean was born on May 26, 1934 to the late Kenneth and Anna (Keilty) McElroy in Benton NB.
Jean was a business woman in Canterbury for many years with her Husband Vernon and also served on the Village Council.
Jean is survived by her children Sheila (Gary Kelly) Paul (Tara) Gregory (Monica), daughter in law Judy Porter, grandchildren, Kenneth McLaughlin, Ray McLaughlin, Jennifer McLaughlin, Lawrence McLaughlin, Parker English, Xavier English, Caden English, Jasper English, Paisley English, Cody English, Angelina English, Megan Porter ,Elisha English, Dylan English, Several Great Grandchildren, her Sisters, Barbara Donovan, Dorothy Price, Deloris McGann, Jane McElroy, Brothers Ashley McElroy and Jeff McElroy, Several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
Jean was predeceased by her parents, her husband Vernon English, Daughter Nancy McLaughlin and son Stanley English.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday February 16, 2022 from 12 -2PM at the Carleton Funeral Home, 337 Lockhart Mill Road, Jacksonville NB.
Funeral Service will follow at 2PM from the Funeral Home Chapel with Rev Greg Williams.
The Funeral Service will be live streamed from the Carleton Funeral Home Facebook page.

Interment will be held in the spring at the Canterbury Cemetery.
Due to Covid19 regulations, Proof of both vaccinations must be shown with ID for both visitation and service.
