1926-2022
Jean Agatha MacSweyn, 96, of Moncton, passed away December
16, 2022 at the Moncton Hospital with her loving family by her
side.
She was born in Murray Harbour, PEI on September 13, 1926,
the daughter of the late Thomas and Elizabeth (Richards)
Davey.
Jean was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She
became one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1954. She was a
faithful servant of Jehovah and served him with a loyal heart. She
shared the Bible’s message that soon the Kingdom,
God’s government, will bring a peaceful earth.
This gave her life focus and purpose.
She will be deeply missed by her daughter, Sandra Harrison
(Louis) of Moncton, sons Robert MacSweyn (Cindy) of Mission BC; Kevin
MacSweyn (Angela) of Moncton; her 8 treasured grandchildren and six
precious great-grandchildren. She will also be missed by her nieces
and nephews and by all her brothers and sisters in the congregation.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate
family.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by her loving husband
and her 14 brothers and sisters.
Honouring Jean’s own wishes there will be no
visitation. A Memorial Service will be held at the Kingdom
Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 25 War Veterans
Avenue, Moncton, NB, E1C 0E7 on Saturday, December
24, 2022 at 2PM.
Arrangements are in the care of the Albert County Funeral
