It is with broken hearts and much sadness that we announce the sudden death of Howard William Jenkins Junior (Jay) of Woodstock on Thursday October 27, 2022, at the age of 51.
Jay was born in Woodstock on November 3, 1970, to the late Howard Senior and Eileen (Tompkins) Jenkins.
Jay is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Shelly (Dore), Daughter Gracie (Jody), Daughter Chelsea, Son Cody, Sister Arlene Watson, Brother John (Kelly) Jenkins, Brother-in-Law Boyd Dore (Michaela), as well as aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Besides his parents, Jay was also predeceased by infant son Howard William 3rd, Infant sister Donna, Brother Bev Tompkins, In laws Medley and Vivian Dore, paternal grandparents Raymond and Annie Jenkins, maternal grandparents Murray and Rosie Tompkins.
Jay was a family man, his family came before anything else, He loved hunting, fishing, playing cribbage and darts. He enjoyed singing Karaoke and was a true fan of the Edmonton Oilers hockey team. He will be missed by his family and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday November 1 at Carleton Funeral Home, 337 Lockhart Mill Road, Jacksonville from 4-8PM.
A private family graveside service will be held at the Lenentine Cemetery.
If so desired, donations to the Lenentine Cemetery would be appreciated by the family.
