Benjamin Janz, born on October 29, 1926, in New Hamburg, Ontario, to Jacob Benjamin and Agnes (Wiens) Janz, passed away quietly on December 24, 2022. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Pauline (nee Trapp), and his five siblings. Ben is survived by daughters Laurie (Rainer) Semler, Linda Janz, and Lisa (Brian) Licis; grandchildren Kyle Licis and Miri Licis; and many nieces and nephews and their families.
A celebration of Ben’s life will be held at a later date.
If desired, donations may be made to Mennonite Central Committee (mcccanada.ca) or to a charity of one’s choice.
