Janice Ruth Weatherall Smith Tuesday February 15 2022

WEATHERALL, Janice Ruth (nee Smith)
Peacefully passed surrounded by her family at Campbell House Hospice, Collingwood on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at the age of 67. Janice Weatherall of Stayner, was born on June 19, 1954 in Neepawa, Manitoba to the late Walter and Gwendolyn (nee Burton) Smith. Beloved wife of the late David Weatherall. Loving mother of Ryan (Abby) and Tammy (Scott). Cherished Nana of Jacob and Emily. Dear sister of Bev (Gary) and sister-in-law of Kathryn (late Jerry), Ian (late Kathy) and Lynn (Dan). Loving aunt of Pam (Brian), Amanda (Dustin), Jenna (Chris), Justin (Jamie), Josh, Kaitlin (Isai), Jaysen, Kristina (Nick), Ashleigh and Tiffany (Matt). Janice will be fondly remembered by her extended family and many friends as a Social Butterfly, a trait which flourished working as a cashier at Foodland for 30+ years. She enjoyed curling, reading, crossword puzzles and spending time with Jacob, Emily and the rest of her family.
The family will gather for a private graveside service at Lavender Cemetery in the spring. A celebration of Janice’s life will be held Sunday June 19, 2022 from 1 to 4 p.m. at St. Patrick’s Parish Hall, Stayner. In lieu of flowers, donations in Janice’s memory to the Collingwood General & Marine Hospital Foundation or the Hospice Georgian Triangle Foundation for Campbell House would be appreciated by the family.
