Obituary
Crowell, Janice Rose – 66, of Upper Port La Tour, passed away at Yarmouth Reginal Hospital on October 2, 2022. Born in Liverpool on August 3, 1956 she was a daughter of Mervin Zwicker and the late Rosalyn Alice. Janice was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. She loved spending time with her family. Janice also enjoyed traveling to Liverpool to see family and attending family functions. Her favorite word was “Ronnie”. Janice loved her husband, Ronnie and always made sure he had plenty of homemade sweats. Janice enjoyed sewing, knitting, puzzle’s, crosswords and baking for family and friends. She also enjoyed feeding her cat, Sonny plenty of treats. Janice is survived by her husband, Ronald; daughters, Amanda Crowell (Cory Zwicker) and Rebecca Crowell (Matthew Nickerson); grandsons, Holden Zwicker and Grady Nickerson; father, Mervin Zwicker; sisters, Brenda, Cindy and Wendy; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother, Rosalyn Alice. Arrangements are under the care and direction of H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Barrington. In keeping with Janice’s wishes cremation had taken place. Memorial donations may be made to the Rosalin Nickerson Care Fund or any charity of choice.
