Death notice for the town of: Stayner, Province: Ontario
I am saddened by the news of my good friend Cookies’ passing. She phoned me on Sunday, May 1st; we planned on getting together next Sat. I can hardly believe that Sat. is now her funeral. I hope she didn’t suffer. Bless you Martha for taking her to the hospital. It is so unfortunate how things ended for her.
Cookie will be remembered by a lot of people for her bubbly personality and being an active person in the community.
I was fortunate to have had a vacation with Cookie in Pennsylvania several years ago. We had a lot of fun and I always have a good chuckle thinking about that trip and always will.
I’ll miss you Cookie but I’ll never forget you.
Love Joan (nee: Rawn) Olaskey
