Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of Janice Annette (Rogers) Robertson, loving wife of Frank Robertson, announce her unexpected passing on July 16, 2022, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born July 7, 1955, in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Allan and Evangeline (Maillet) Rogers.
The most important thing to Janice was her family. She cherished every moment with her grandchildren, and if she couldn’t be there, she would facetime with them. She enjoyed reading and taking long drives so she could watch the waves on the ocean. Her favourite colour was mauve and heart shapes. Over the years she sang in the church choir and belonged to the CWL. Janice enjoyed playing Bingo and cards with her friends
Besides her husband Frank, she is survived by her sons, René Melanson (Josée) and Roger Melanson (Amanda), her brother Norman Rogers (Belinda), her grandchildren, Ella, Aiden, Alexus, Allan & Amelia, along with her nieces and nephew, Lisa, Laura, and Matthew.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). Following cremation, visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 20th, 2022, from 6pm until 8pm and Thursday morning from 10am until 11am at which time the funeral liturgy will be celebrated in the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will take place at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Memorial remembrances made to the Breast Cancer Foundation, the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation or the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
