Jane O’Bireck October 31 1929 May 18 2022

O’Bireck, Jane/Jennie/Janey (nee Ceply) Passed away peacefully in Aurora, Ontario on May 18, 2022 at the age of 92. Jane was the loving wife of Julius (Doc) who passed away in 2011. She has also been a dedicated and caring mother to her two sons Gary and John (Karen), devoted “Grammo” and “Grandma Jane” to Taylor, Seana, and Justin as well as her two great-grandchildren. Predeceased by two brothers, Stash Ceply and Nick Ceply, Jane has given many beautiful memories to the large and loving extended families of O’Bireck’s and Ceply’s, far and wide. Jane lived and loved a long and giving life taking care of all around her in Port Colborne, Stratford and Welland. She leaves a legacy of caring.
A special thank you to the wonderful people at Park Place Manor, Aurora – Jane’s home for the past nine years. They assisted her transitions in these final stages of life with grace and dignity, a smile and a hug.
As requested, cremation has taken place with internment and a private graveside service at a later date. A Celebration of Life gathering will be planned for later this year. …In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to a local charity of your choice, that would assist in your community as Janey was always about helping others around her…
