MacPherson,
John James Brian “Jamie”, age 53, a kind and caring father,
son, brother and friend left us suddenly and too soon on November 20,
2022.
He was born to
John Dan and Pat MacPherson on July 6, 1969 in Thunder Bay,
Ontario.
Left to mourn
his loss are his children, Shamus, Cora, Andy, step-son Dalton and
their mother Sarah; his mother, Pat; brother, Michael; sisters,
Catherine (Shannon) and Kim (Daryl); and his nieces and
nephews.
Jamie was
predeceased by his father John Dan.
Jamie had a
successful career as a sheet metal worker, specializing in
ventilation. He could work tools or run the job and was a respected
foreman. His work took him from Alberta to Bermuda and throughout
Atlantic Canada.
Jamie was a
charter member (11-28-98) of the Highlander Motorcycle club and loved
the comradery of his brothers
Jamie had a
gift to make others laugh and feel at home. He loved to share stories
and jokes. His quick wit was always accompanied by a genuine smile and
twinkling eyes. He was a special guy with an amazing personality. He
was a friend to everyone.
In contrast to
the majority of his life, Jamie’s last years were more
difficult. He remained strongly independent and loyal to his family
and friends.
Donations in
his memory may be made to the Antigonish Food Bank or the Havre
Boucher Community Centre.
Funeral
services will be at 11:00 am Saturday in St Paul’s Church,
Havre Boucher with a reception to follow in the Havre Boucher
Community Centre.
