Obituary of James Hunter
At Alexandra Marine & General Hospital on Sunday, October 23, 2022, Jim Hunter formerly of Belgrave, passed away at the age of 92.
Devoted husband of Mary (Durham) Hunter of Goderich. Loving dad of Joyce & Keith Van Camp of Cayley, AB, Dan Hunter of Belgrave and Glen Hunter of Exeter. Cherished grandpa of Marilyn Loewen, Chris & Nicole Casemore, Chanda Casemore, Kate & Cam Longson and Tim & Katrina Van Camp and great-grandpa of Brody, Kash, Carsen, Sydney, Jarrett and Morgan. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Vera & Bill Buchanan, Edward & Kathy Hunter and Marlene Hunter. Jim will be lovingly remembered by Mary’s family as well as many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his daughter Gwendolyn MacLean and parents Howard & Merle (Wood) Hunter, sister Rosie Stolk and brother Robert Hunter.
A private family graveside will be held at Brandon Cemetery, Belgrave. A come and go celebration will be held at the Belgrave Community Centre on Friday, October 28, 2022 from 1:00-3:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Huron Hospice, Clinton would be appreciated.
