Obituary of Mr. James Arnott
James Gordon Arnott (Gord)
1936-2022
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dad, Gord.
Beloved husband of the late Bev (2004). Brother of Phyllis, Jack and Sandy. Wonderfull father of Colin (Lee Anne), Sharon (Michael), Janet (Mike), Ken (pre-deceased) Janie. Grandfather of Lyndsey, Alexandra, Derek, Janine, Jeff (pre-deceased), Trevor, Emily, Carey, Jonathan, Rosey and Jamie. Great grandfather of Jacob, Cole, Joshua, Avery, Ellie, Ava, Bentley, Vienna, Harper and Bane.
Dad was a longtime employee of IBM retiring in 1990. He enjoyed bowling, cards, baseball and in his younger days refereeing soccer and loved the Glasgow Rangers. But his greatest pride was his family.
Dad was quick witted to the very end. He had an amazing memory and could recall the dates of vacations and birthdays in an instant. His quick wit and dry sense of humour will be sorely missed.
We hope you and mom are dancing on the clouds.
