Obituary of James Arthur MacPherson
James Arthur MacPherson – age 77 formerly of Pictou Landing Road, Hillside passed away Saturday, January 8, 2022. He was the son of the late Margaret (Davidson) and William MacPherson.
Jimmy worked at Trenton Works for the majority of his life.
He is survived by his sisters Katherine Kennedy (Dennis), Medical Lake, Washington; and Marion Ladriere, MacLellan’s Mountain; brothers William MacPherson (Flossie) and Victor, New York; nieces Judith Rogers, MacLellan’s Mountain; Michelle Haeman, New York; nephews Sylvan Ladriere, Cranbrook, BC; Trevor Ladriere, MacLellan’s Mountain; Patrick Kennedy, Pennsylvania; Dr. Michael Kennedy, Michigan; David Kennedy, Spokane, Washington and Daniel MacPherson, New York.
He was predeceased by a brother-in-law John Ladriere and a grandniece Danielle Rogers, MacLellan’s Mountain.
Cremation has taken place. Burial will take place in Hillside cemetery at a later date.
A sincere thank-you is extended to the Palliative Care at the Aberdeen Hospital and at Glen Haven Manor for their care and compassion.
