It is with deeply saddened hearts that the family of James Robert Brunton announce his passing at Bluewater Health, on Friday, September 16, 2022, at the age of 94. Beloved husband of the late Beverly Ann (Wise) Brunton (2000). Loving father of Gregory and Jason Brunton. Proud grandfather of Christine Brunton and Jason Brunton. Dear brother of the late Joseph (Bernice) Brunton (2015), and Helen (Harold) Oliver. Jim was proud to be a lifelong Sarnia resident and to see Sarnia grow over the years. As well as his love of photography and interest in electronics, Jim was an avid golfer at the Sarnia Golf and Curling Club where he played for many years. Jim retired from Dow Chemical after 35 years of service and enjoyed and equal amount of golden years. He will be missed. Cremation has taken place and a private family interment will follow at a later date. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to Bluewater Health Foundation or the Alzheimer Society (cheques only at the funeral home please).
