James Richmond Campbell Thomson Wednesday February 9th 2022

In loving memory of Jim Thomson. Jim passed away peacefully with family by his side on Wednesday, February 9, 2022. Born in Hamilton on April 4, 1938, Jim was the son of James and Polly and he was the beloved husband for 28 years of Colleen Thomson. Jim was the proud father of MaryLisa Forsyth, Kathi Alcock and Jason Thomson. He was a doting grandfather to Delaney, Zoe, Georgia, James, Justin, Sierra and Jordyn, great grandfather to Aurora and brother to David. Jim was an avid sports fan and poker player extraordinaire and got immense satisfaction chirping with his grandchildren about his favourite teams, and why their teams were not nearly as good. He truly valued time with his family above all else. He was always ready with a mischievous smile and words of support for anyone who needed it. He was a successful entrepreneur that lived life on his terms, doing the things that he loved the way he wanted to do them. Jim will be sorely missed by friends and family alike. He may have passed but he will live forever in our hearts. A private gathering has taken place. We will have a Celebration of Life early summer.
