James “Jim” McIntyre, 79 years of Riverview passed
away at Dr. Georges Dumont University Hospital, on Saturday, February
19, 2022.
Born in Kingston, Ont he was the son of the late Robert and
Alice (Jordan) McIntyre. Jim retired after many years working in
Office Equipment Sales. Jim enjoyed model railroading and wood
working. He enjoyed Monday morning coffee with the boys. He was a
member of the Rhythm Pals and learned to play guitar in later years.
Jim was an active social media user keeping in-touch with many friends
and family from all over.
Jim is survived by his wife Jean Gibson; daughter, Debbra
(Barry) Melanson of St. Norbert; sister, Barbara (John) Pincombe of
England; brother Ralph Grant of Ontario.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by his
brother Keith McIntyre.
The funeral service will be held at the Lower
Coverdale Baptist Church on Thursday, February 24, 2022 at 2:00pm with
Pastor Jodie LeBouthillier officiating.
Interment will be
in Wilmot Memorial Cemetery at a later date.
