James “Jimmy”‘s Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of James “Jimmy” Edward Ferdinand announce his passing. James, 66, of Westchester NS passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends on October 12th,2022. Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents James & Margaret Ferdinand and sisters Debbie and Greta and his brother Johnny. Jimmy is survived by the love of his life his wife Lisa Ferdinand and his grandchildren Levonna, Steve, Salena, Tanya, Jason, Dorian, Miranda, Dakota Sienna, Luke, Hannah, Owen, Leland, Lucas, Deanna,Derelle, Domani, Derelle and Drew. Jimmy is also survived by 6 sisters, 3 brothers and multiple nieces and nephews. Jimmy was born in Pugwash,NS on August 17th, 1956. He moved to Halifax and spent many years calling South Woodside his home. Jimmy was a hard worker that put many years in at Dartmouth Central Plumbing & Heating. Jimmy was very proud of his years work and was quick to tell you he never called in sick one day in over 40+ years. Jimmy was a man of many loves ,old classic Fords, animals, country music (especially Conway Twitty and George Jones) but what always made him light up was having his wife, children and grandchildren around him. The world will never be the same without Jimmy in it. Family and friends are welcome to join in the celebration of life tribute being held at the Wentworth Recreation Center at 13752 NS-4 Wentworth NS on October 29th, 2022 from 12pm-4pm
