With deep sorrow we announce the sudden passing of James Rock, 82 years of Windsor. Jimmy was predeceased by his parents William and Margaret Rock and his brothers Gerard Leslie and Franklin David. He is survived by his sister Judy(Rock)St. Denis (Gary), and brother Terry the late Kay. Also survived by his nieces and nephews Kelly Sartor, Carrie Cocca, Don St. Denis, Jeffrey Rock, Kim Rock and Dan Rock and many great nieces and nephews.
Jimmy will be remembered by neighbours and friends in the Prince Rd area where he delivered newspapers faithfully for 50 years.
The Rock family would like to extend their thanks to Chateau Park for the compassionate care they provided to Jimmy over the past year. Special thanks as well to Windsor Regional Hospital – Ouellette Campus ICU doctors and nurses who cared for Jimmy.
Visitation Monday from 7-9pm at Families First –South Windsor – 3260 Dougall Ave. 519-969-5841. On Tuesday, family and friends are invited to meet after 10 am for a funeral Mass at Our Lady Assumption Parish – Assumption Site 2735 University Ave W. Interment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
