Obituary
SNARR, James “Jim, Jimmy”…passed away suddenly but peacefully at Campbellford Memorial Hospital on Friday, January 7th, 2022 at the age of 87 years. Loving and devoted husband of 69 years to Shirley Ann Snarr nee Dutton. Proud father of the late Terry Snarr (Judy), Todd Snarr (Laurie Richardson) and Tracey Snarr (Keith Mewett). Sadly missed by his grandchildren Mike, Amanda (Devan) and Leah (Carson) and great grandchildren Marley and Hudson. Jim is survived by his siblings; Fern Jones (late Howard), Harold Snarr (Bonnie), Marion Haig (Jack), Bill “Willie” Snarr. Predeceased by his siblings Marie Geen (late Harold), Gord Snarr (late Lucy Mae), Phyllis Pearce (late John), Carl Snarr (Shirley). He will be fondly remembered by sister in law Eleanor Nicholas. Following Jim’s wishes, cremation will take place and no services will be held at this time. Interment will occur at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Campbellford. The family is very grateful to Caressant Care Retirement Home, Marmora, for kind and compassionate care and friendship over the past year. Jim will be missed by the residents, staff and caregivers. If desired, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society of Canada and/or Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
