Gommerman, James ‘Jim’
Safe in the arms of Jesus, Jim passed away suddenly on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at Hamilton General Hospital in his 81st year. Most beloved husband to Marion for 55 years and dearly loved father to Jennifer (Mike), Mike and Rob (Hannae). Proud and loving grandfather to Charlie, Sam, Hannah, Nathan and Owen. Youngest son to Elizabeth Schwartz and Joseph Gommerman, and brother to Adam, Chris, Tony and Gerry. Jim will be dearly remembered by many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held at KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill St. N., Waterdown on Saturday, April 9, 2022 from 1:30 until the start of a Memorial Service at 3 p.m. Cremation has taken place. The family request that all in attendance please bring and wear a mask. Live stream will be available through the funeral home website for those that cannot attend and light refreshments will be served after the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Red Cross for Ukraine Support would be appreciated as expressions of Sympathy.
