James Jim Delbert McQuary February 7th 2022

James Delbert McQuary
January 16th, 1944
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of “Sir James” on February 7, 2022 at the age of 78.
Jim was a man who loved life. No matter what was thrown his way his optimistic attitude and twisted sense of humour saw him through it. If someone needed help he was there with a smile on his face and jokes to be told.
Jim’s passions were all things classic car, bluegrass music and the annual Hairy Man. In more recent years he loved sitting on the deck, listening to music, visiting with family and friends and enjoying the company of his partner and love Karen.
Jim is survived by his loving partner Karen Wallgren, Karen’s children; Kale (April) and Jozanne (Blaine), Jim’s children; Dale (Joanne) and Christine (Steve), his grandchildren, and sisters Gloria and Judith (Andrew). Jim also leaves behind many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. He was a wonderful man and will be missed more than words can express.
Jim was predeceased by his parents Jacob and Iona, sister Denise, and identical twin brother Jerry.
We would like to thank the wonderful staff in the KBRH Renal Unit for the years of wonderful care you gave Jim.
A service will not take place. Gwen Ziprick of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services™ has been entrusted with arrangements.
As an expression of sympathy, donations in Jim’s name may be made to the Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital Health Foundation at 1200 Hospital Bench Road, Trail, BC V1R 4M1 or online at www.kbrhhealthfoundation.ca
You are invited to leave a personal message of condolence.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of James Jim Delbert McQuary February 7th 2022..
