James Jim Bennett Simpson February 4th 2022

Jim passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on February 4, 2022.
He was born in Trail, BC on November 29, 1946 to Jack and Marjory Simpson.
His childhood was spent in the mountains behind Sunningdale and at Columbia River.
He was employed by the KBRH as head technician in the Renal Unit until his retirement in 2004.
He loved the outdoors and enjoyed mountain biking, skiing, hiking, kayaking and gathering firewood. Above all, he loved and committed everything to his family.
“Grandpa Jim” touched many people’s hearts.
He is greatly missed by his wife Teruko, daughters Kimiko (Nate) and Marina (Nefi), grandchildren Matvei, Alani, Katien, Alek, Koen and Rita, sister Jackie and brother Ray.
We are grateful for the care given by the doctors, nurses and health care workers during his illness. We are also thankful for our friends and family for their support.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Andreas Schmitz of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services™ has been entrusted with arrangements.
You are invited to leave a personal message of condolence.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of James Jim Bennett Simpson February 4th 2022..
