James “Jim” Alexander McIntosh
1944 – 2022
James “Jim” Alexander McIntosh of Miramichi, NB, husband of Yvonne (Ellis) McIntosh passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at the age of 77. Born in Bristol, NB, the son of the late Walter and Helen (Logue) McIntosh.
Jim was a millwright by trade and was a truck driver. Jim loved the outdoors from hunting and fishing as well as walking. He was an avid bowler and enjoyed reading a good book. Jim was always there to lend a hand and would help other people on the road.
Jim is survived by his wife: Yvonne; daughter: Tina Pursey (Jamie) of Saint John, NB; sons; Andrew (Stacey) of Quispamsis, NB and Devon (Katelyn Burns) of Miramichi, NB; sisters: Jocelyn Bichard (Nick) of Quispamsis, NB, Dr. Ethel McIntosh (Jose Machado) and Dr. Leslie McIntosh (Colleen Woods) all of Winnipeg, MB; grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Dylan, Austin and Alex; special family: Joshua and Owen, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Jim is predeceased by son: Patrick; brother: Phillip; sister: Mariam Findlay and niece: Emma Machado.
At the family’s request there will be no visitation. A funeral service will be held from the Sterling Bell Memorial Chapel on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Willard Watling officiating.
