Obituary
James (Jamie) Cameron Clay was born in Edson, Alberta on June 27, 1955. He was the first child of Laura (1938-) and Harry Clay (1930-2003). Jamie spent his school years in Claresholm and participated in the family business from the age of 12. Jamie’s happiest times were spent tinkering in the shop, at the lake with friends, and anytime he was with family.
Jamie leaves behind his wife and best friend, Elaine Clay (nee Vandervalk) and children from his first marriage (Barbara Diane Weerstra 1957-1987), David (Chandra) Clay, Jade Clay, and Amber (Clay) Scoulding and grandkids Ian, Wes, Bennett, and Cameron who will all miss him dearly. Jamie will be lovingly remembered by his mother Laura, brothers, Rick (Donna), Barry (Shannon), and Ron (David Dove) and their families as well as his extended families through Barbara and Elaine.

A memorial service for Jamie will be held at Zentner Funeral Homes on January 24, 2022, at 2:00 pm.
