It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father, mushum, uncle, cousin, and brother. James was predeceased by his son Baby Joseph; parents James and Mary Gordon; grandparents andrew Kay and Clara Nahpootican; siblings Ramona Whitehawk, Joseph, George Gordon and Wayne Gordon.
James leaves to mourn his passing children Lacey (George), Jordan, Josh (Lacy), James Jr, Jace; siblings Margaret Cyr, Ron (Donna), Calvin (Lisa), Darrell, Wanda, Della (Harold), Basilla (Jesse), Shiela (Mike), Andrew (Cathy); grandchildren whom he loved very dearly: Winterhawk, Flyingeagle, Wyatt, Kylie, Zola, and Sage; special uncles Austin Kay, Steven Daniels.
Traditional Wake will be held Thurday, July 21, 2022 at 4 pm in the Old Gym, George Gordon First Nation. Funeral Service will be held Friday, July 22, 2022 at 11 am in the same location, elder Harry Francis officating. The family asks that no children under 12 at the wake or funeral. Interment in St Lukes cemetery, George Gordon first Nation.
