It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of a dear husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, James Douglas Dodd (Jim) on April 01, 2022 at his home in Torbay.
Predeceased by his first wife, Madonna, his father and mother, Edward & Theresa Dodd, his father and mother-in-law Patrick & Madeline White, his brother, Edward Dodd, his brothers- in-law, Randell White and Michael Barrington and sister-in-law, Barbara Dodd.
Leaving to mourn with wonderful and lasting memories, his wife, Jeanne Dodd, his children Paul (Paula), Denise (Roger), Kenneth (Heather) & Leighanne (John). Stepchildren, Shelley Barrett, Graham Barrett (Cheryne). Much loved grandchildren, Samantha (Josh), Taylore, Abby, Brianna & Claire. Step grandchildren, Adam, Kelsey, Gage and Nash. Great grandchildren, Sophia & Scarlett. And fur baby, Cuddles. Brother Terry Dodd. Sisters, Beth Ann Coaker (Don), Madelyn Taylor, Carmelita Hussey (John), and Joanne Jennings (Jamey). Special sister-in-law, Kay Barrington, sisters-in-law Ruby Dodd, and Marion Codner (Gerald).
Also, leaving to mourn many nieces and nephews, good friends, Paddy Kavanagh & Paul Boylan, Fred & Marie Barrett, good neighbor, Fred Newell and his McDonalds coffee crew who he looked forward to seeing each day.
Cremation has taken place. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home in Torbay on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 from 12-9 p.m. Funeral Service to take place at Holy Trinity Church in Torbay on Thursday, April 7 at, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. Inurnment to follow at Holy Trinity Cemetery, Torbay.
Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to a charity of ones’ choice.
Due to Covid-19 Health regulations, masks must be worn.
