Obituary
The death of James (Jim) MacLaren occurred peacefully at Huntsville Hospital December 22, 2022.
Jim leaves behind the love of his life Marilyn, his brothers, Bruce, Larry, Melvin, sisters Joyce and Ellen, his (step) children Lee Brodie (Bob), Paul Wills, Ann Stephenson (Kirk), Neil Wills (Robin), and his 16 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and also many nieces and nephews.
Jim’s life began April 14, 1944 in Peterborough, early on the family moved to Northern Ontario. He grew up in New Liskeard, then moved to North Bay as a young man where he met his forever family.
Throughout his life Jim worked in many jobs. He especially loved driving School bus, taxi and the para bus in North Bay. He loved the people and loved to joke with them. He worked security at the Memorial Gardens for many occasions, enjoying many a hockey game while working. Hockey was his passion.
In the last few years, He and Marilyn enjoyed summers at their trailer and made lots of friends.
He will be missed by many.

Cremation has taken place.
