James’ Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family announce the passing of James Cyril Barry on Monday, March 21st, 2022 at the age of 67 years.
He leaves to mourn with many loving memories: wife Christine; sons: Jamie (Grace) and Wilfred (Tracey); stepdaughters: Krista, Allison, and Christina; brothers: William (Carol Anne), Tom (Michelle), and Gerard (Audrey); sisters: Donna, Nora (Mickey), Theresa (Gary), and Debbie (Mike); and 11 grandchildren; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends.
James was predeceased by: parents Leo and Hannah; daughter Michelle; sister: Mary “Dolly”; brother Leo; sister in law Joan; and nephew Sheldon.
Following his wishes, cremation has taken place. A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 24th from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. At the family’s request, masks will be required to attend this visitation.
A service for close family and friends will be held on Friday at 1 PM at Russell’s Funeral Home Chapel followed by interment at Hillside Interfaith Cemetery.
The family would like to say a special thank you to Marg Strickland, his caregiver who he called his angel; and to the nurses and doctors at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital.
