Obituary
James Bradley Goodman, 87, of Lethbridge, Alberta passed away peacefully on January 4 surrounded by family.
Brad was born in Quill Lake, SK to parents Victor & Ragnheidur Goodman and grew up with sisters, Shirley, Sheila, Sharon, Shauna, Shelby, and brother Brian.
It was in the Wynyard, SK area, where he met the love of his life, Eva Bjornson. They were married on December 27, 1961 and remained inseparable for almost 60 years. Together, they had 2 boys, Jim & Donn (Ashley) and were proud Amma & Afi to a very special granddaughter Abby. Brad also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, and a whole lot of fond memories.
He had a long and successful career in the Automotive industry, as an entrepreneur, and even with the Canadian Air Force. Brad was an involved member of the community; he was active with the Kinsmen, Elks, Fort Whoop Up society, as well as The Hockey Hounds with whom he was inducted into the Lethbridge Sports Hall of Fame.
Brad enjoyed people and this was evident by his many friends. He would strike up a conversation with anyone. Golf, curling, and football were favourites, and he split his loyalty between the Stamps and Riders. He loved to share stories, and enjoyed a good scotch.
A private family service will be held at a later date. Those wishing to pay tribute may donate to the Canadian Cancer Society in Brad’s honour.
