With a heavy heart we say goodbye to our father and husband James Benjamin Boland who passed away at the Health Science on June 17th, 2022, at the age of 76 years.
Predeceased by his father James, mother Gertrude Martin Boland, brother Simon and son Simon, sisters Sarah Kopp, Margie Kinsella, Jennie Emberley, Brothers-in-law Joseph Emberley, Robert Sweeney, John Doyle, Pat Adams and Harold Kopp. Sister-in-law Nellie Boland, mother-in-law Agnes Williams, father-in-law John Francis Williams, sisters-in-law Eleanor, Mary, Josephine, Judy, Bernadette.
Leaving to mourn, Jim’s wife of 58 years Teresa, son Jim (Shirley), daughters Yvonne, Sarah (Paul), Jamie (Don), Kim (Pat). Eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. A very special thank you going out to our eldest granddaughter Heather Pike and her partner Doug Mitchell for their love and support they showed us, as Jim and I travelled through this journey together. Sister-in-law Yvonne Williams, brother-in-law Don Greene and Gus Kinsella, niece Marie Hawco and husband Ray. Sisters, Helen Sweeney, Cindy Duke and Carrie and Rick Walsh and Mary Adams.
A large number of family and friends, nieces and nephews including our special camping friends Barbra and Ronnie. We would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of 4 North A of the Health Science for all their loving support to Jim and his family on his journey home. We would like to thank the Miller Center and Cancer Clinic Doctors, Nurses and staff for their support. Jim is reunited with his loved ones and special fur babies Lady and Pebbles once again. We love you Jim and will miss you until reunited once again and our ever-growing family circle will forever be unbroken.

Cremation has taken place. Visitation to take place at Cauls Funeral Home, Lemarchant Road, on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, from 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. Funeral Service to take place at Cauls’ Chapel on Thursday, June 23, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. with inurnment to follow to Gates of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Macmorran Community Center Food Bank where Jim volunteered for 20 years or a Charity of one’s choice.
