James Austin “Jim” Hartling
1955-2022
James Austin “Jim” Hartling
– age 67, of Kentville, formerly of Tatamagouche, passed
away suddenly on Tuesday, October 4, 2022. He is survived by his
mother, Anita MacKay; brothers, Dale (Elaine), Gary (Lynn) and Lloyd
(Shannon); sister, Ina (Brian); aunt, Irene (Tudor) Black; several
nieces and nephews. Jim was predeceased by his father, Bill; sister,
Terry; and aunt, Gladys Langille. Jim worked at SaskTel for many years
before his health declined and he moved back home to Nova Scotia. Jim
loved his family, playing cards and his cowboy boots. He will be sadly
missed by all who knew him. Cremation has taken place and a private
service will take place at a later date. Donations may be made to
Riverside Cemetery, Wallace River or a charity of your choice.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the
White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville. On-line
