James MacNaughton
July 21, 1951 – January 11, 2022
Unexpectedly at home. Survived by his father Allister MacNaughton (the late Magdalin). Loving brother of Joan Brown (the late Harry) and Bob MacNaughton (Donna). James will be sadly missed by his nephews, Philip Brown and Andrew MacNaughton (Katlyn); his niece, Stacey MacNaughton. Jim was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Kemptville Branch 212, a place he could be with friends and play darts.
He enjoyed fishing and always tried to be involved in the Annual Kemptville Fishing Derby. He also enjoyed his final years from spring until fall working at Rideau Hill Camp for the United Church of Canada. He liked to spend his time at O’Heaphy’s Pub and enjoyed the camaraderie there. I’m sure he will be missed by all his friends and at home his furry friend, Riley.
“To all a final farewell”. A Graveside Service will be announced in the late Spring. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Kemptville Royal Canadian Legion Branch 212, 100 Rueben Crescent, Kemptville, ON, K0G 1J0, would be appreciated.
Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of James Allistair MacNaughton Tuesday January 11th 2022..
