It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Jacqueline Bowen (née Allaire) on Saturday November 19, 2022, at the Glen Stor Dun Lodge at the age of 96 years. Beloved wife of the late Maurice Bowen (2009). Predeceased by her children Ronald and twins Claude and Claudette, her parents Ernest and Alida Allaire (née Bergeron), her brother Maurice Allaire (Georgette), and her sisters Claire Smith (late Edwin), Pauline Alguire (late Clarke) and Irene Lalonde (late John). She will be missed by her surviving brother Raymond Allaire (Joan), her sister Annette Leroux (Bruce), her sisters in law Marie (late Rolland, Marielle (late André), Cécile (late George), and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 24th, 2022 from 1PM to 4PM and Friday November 25th from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Wilson Funeral Home, Boulerice Center 218 Montreal Road, Cornwall, ON (613-938-3888). A Mass of the Resurrection with Commendation and Farewell will be held in St. Peter’s Church, Cornwall on Friday, November 25th, 2022 at 11 AM. Rite of Committal in Notre Dame Cemetery to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to Carefor Cornwall Hospice or to the charity of your choice, would be appreciated by the family.
