In loving memory of Jack V. Barrand who passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 3rd, 2022 at Health Sciences North at the age of 87. He was devoted to his loving wife Carol predeceased. Loving father of Lee Ann (John) of Gilbert, Arizona, and Brad (Holly) of Capreol. Cherished grandfather of Bryce and Rosemary and great grandfather of Seven and “Grandpaw” to his canine buddy Token. Dear son of Russell and Agnes both predeceased. Dear brother of Lennox predeceased (Ina) of Lakeland, Florida, Betty (Roger predeceased) of Lake Havasu, Arizona, Sally (Ivan) both predeceased. Dear uncle to many nieces and nephews. He was a lifelong resident of Capreol. He and his father owned and operated Barrand’s Hardware for many years. After retiring from the business, he then went on to work for Sear’s retiring in 2000. His fondest memories were spending many years with his family at their cottage on Ella Lake, and fishing at his parent’s cottage on Henderson Lake. At Jack’s request, there will be no funeral visitation or service. Donations to the St. Alban Anglican Church, Capreol would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the Lougheed Funeral Homes.
