Obituary
It is with broken hearts the family of Jack Hamilton of Lorneville announce his passing which occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital with his loving family at his side. Born in Perth Andover on March 23rd, 1963 he is the son of the late Curtis and Darlene (Taylor) Hamilton. Jack was a one of kind, he had a smile and a laugh that was contagious, he enjoyed cracking cold one’s and spending time with family and friends. Jack’s family was number one to him, he was very close to his one and only daughter Tiffany and his grandson Brandon who was the apple of his eye. A talented mechanic he could fix anything and did when working over the years for Northrup Group, Fero and Maritime Hydro Seed.
Jack enjoyed being the neighborhood watch, long hwy drives, playing crib, going to Black Beach, cooking and living life to the fullest with a good laugh and cold beer in his hand.
Jack is survived by his wife of 37 years Susan (Cobham) Hamilton; precious daughter Tiffany who changed his world; grandson Brandon who adored his papa; ); most loving and caring sister Penny Pelkey (Brent); brothers John Hamilton, Bernard Hamilton (Robin) and Joey Hamilton (Connie); brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law Gordon Cobham (Callie), Carl Cobham (Violet) and Ryan Cobham; nieces, nephews, friends and best friend EricK McLaughlin.
Along with his parents, Jack was predeceased by his brother Randy and sister Teena.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation on Tuesday January 4th from 12Noon to 2:00 p.m. Celebration of Jack’s Life will be held from the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 p.m. following the visitation. Due to public health restrictions proof of vaccinations and government issued ID are required to attend services. Seating is limited RSVP is required please call 646-2424. Interment to be held in Spring of 2022 in Lorneville. Donations in Jack’s memory can be made to Bobby’s Hospice.
