Jack Clark Zachary – age 91 of Loudon passed away Monday, August 29, 2022. Jack grew up in Corryton, TN and graduated from Gibbs High School. After serving in the US Army, he married his love, Anna Bruce Bell, who he affectionately called Brucie. He enjoyed a life filled with family celebrations, times spent on the lake and hunting. Jack’s hobby was woodworking. He gifted family and friends with many of his special creations. At this time of year, he would be celebrating the Vols first kickoff of the season.
Preceded in death by wife of 53 years, Anna Bruce; parents, Walter and Beatrice Zachary; and brothers, Elmer and Clarence Zachary.
Survived by sister-in-law, June Zachary; niece, Judy Fenton; nephews, Alan (Robin) Zachary, Terry (Cecilia) Zachary, and Randy Zachary; great nieces, Alaina Zachary, Rachel Zachary, Christy (Josh) Peterson; great nephew, Evan Zachary; great great nephew, Leo Peterson; cousin, Pat Link Roberts; and the entire Bell family.
Family and friends will gather 12:45 PM on Saturday, September 10, 2022, at Greenwood Cemetery for a 1:00 PM graveside service. Arrangements by Bridges Funeral Home, 5430 Rutledge Pike, 865-523-4999. www.bridgesfuneralhome.com
