Obituary of J. William Kenway
It is with great sadness that the family of the late J William Kenway announces his sudden passing on Friday, March 25, 2022 at his home in Baine Harbour at the age of 74 years.
Leaving to mourn wife Barbara (nee Collett), son Brad (Annie) of Paradise, daughter Bonita (Ross) of Clarenville; grandchildren Ryan, Kelsey, Cody, Chloe; great-grandchildren Dallas and Brycen; sister Maude (Geoff); brothers Harold (Alma), Wayne ( Marion), Randy (Julie), Ross (Joy); sisters-in-law Sylvia Hann & Monica Cole; brother-in-law Max (Brenda) Collett and by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
Predeceased by his parents Isaac and Beulah Kenway, parents-in-law Reginald and Mary Collett, sisters-in-law Regina Gaulton, Marilyn Collett, nephews Vernon Collett, Corey Kenway, Mervin Hann, Great-grandchild Owen Jones.
Bill enjoyed spending time with his family, his cherished wife Barbara, daughter Bonita and son Brad and his grandchildren.
He enjoyed playing his accordion and watching hockey. He was the mayor of Baine Harbour and devoted to this position, as well as being Church Warden at St. Mark’s Church.
In keeping with his wishes cremation will take place
Funeral service will take place from St. Mark’s Church, Baine Harbour on Tuesday March 29, 2022 at 11am.
Donations can be made to St. Mark’s Church, Baine Harbour in his memory.
