At the Dr.
John M. Gillis Memorial Lodge, Eldon, formerly of Iris, with family by
his side, the passing of J. A. MacKinnon age 84,devoted husband of the
late Ethel Mae (Crossman) MacKinnon, occurred on Saturday, July 9,
2022. Born in Iris, on September 12, 1937, son of the late Harold and
Hannah Belle (Campbell) MacKinnon. Survived by children, Hannah
(Thomas) Duguay, Harland (Kim) MacKinnon, Kevin (Ann-Joy) MacKinnon,
Barb Lantigne, Heather (Rob) MacKinnon, Roger (Janice) MacKinnon;
sister, Naydeen (Sterling) Crossman; cherished grandchildren, Tanya,
John, Trevor, Katie, Krista, Jason, Katherine, Danny, Melissa R.,
Brad, Tiffany, Cory, Jennifer, Katelyn, Michelle, Melissa H.; adored
great grandchildren, Daniel, Tyler, Dakota, Brenna, Leiah, Kylie,
Farrah, Jamieson, Maria, Bennett, Nate, Max, Braxton, Darus, Drayden,
Dawson, Journey, Brigette, Brandon, Kelsey, Ava, Savanna, Halana,
Jaydeann; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by daughter Linda
MacKinnon; son-in-law Clifford Lantigne, sisters, Helen Young, Beryl
Singleton and brother Peter MacKinnon.
Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home, with
visiting on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 from 12 to 2:30 pm. Funeral
Service to be held on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at 3:00 pm in the
Funeral Home Chapel with (live streaming). Interment to take place in
the Peters Road Cemetery.
