Izabella Myjuk
March 06, 1942 – May 29, 2022
It is with deep sadness that we announce the loss of Izabella Myjuk, who peacefully passed away on Sunday, May 29, 2022 with her devoted son Michael by her side.
Izabella was born in Montereau France in the province of Seine-Et-Marne on March 06, 1942 to parents Albert and Marianna Cienki. In 1947 Izabella immigrated to Poland from France with her family and she then immigrated to Canada in 1964 to marry the love of her life, John Myjuk. Together they ran the family business, while raising their two sons, Zenon (Zenny) and Michael (Mike). Izabella will always be remembered for her kind, friendly and caring nature. She was a real people person who loved to chat and converse with anyone who crossed her path. Sewing, music and gardening were her passions and she especially enjoyed the many trips she took to Grand Portage and Duluth MN, with her sons.
Izabella is lovingly remembered by her son Michael, sister Lydia Waltos, brother-in-law Joseph Bon, nephews John Waltos, Ed Waltos and Dennis Bon. Nieces Margaret Bon, Helen-Waltos Gray and her daughter Kalina Waltos.
She was predeceased by her parents Albert and Marianna Cienki, sister Monika Bon, husband John and son Zenon.
Funeral services for the late Izabella Myjuk will be held on Monday, June 13, 2022 at 11:00am in the WESTFORT CHAPEL, 420 West Gore Street, Thunder Bay with visitation one hour prior to the service.
If friends and family desire, donations to The Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
‘She is gone, she is free
but never far from our memories.’
