Obituary
Ivy Langor, 67, passed away suddenly but peacefully at Chancellor Park on Oct. 2, 2022.
Born to Robert and Emily Langor, Ivy will be remembered by her big heart and giving nature. She was an avid knitter and a master crocheter; one of her greatest pleasures was gifting her creations to others.
Ivy loved dogs, especially her apricot poodle Bimbo, a loyal companion for many years. She was forever passionate about helping stray and homeless creatures have a better life.
Ivy had many places she called home. She moved from Thoroughfare to Champneys West to Catalina & then to St. John’s.
Ivy is survived by her brother Jim (Gemma), cherished nieces Gillian (Russell) and Erin, nephews Nicholas (Stephanie), & Sean (Kiersty), adored great niece Violet and special great nephews Oscar, and Levi as well as many relatives and friends.
The family will receive visitors at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Wednesday, Oct. 5th from 6-9pm. A celebration of Ivy’s life will be held on Thursday, Oct. 6th at 11am at Barrett’s Memorial Chapel. The funeral service will also be available to view live from Barrett’s website.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Ivy’s memory may be made to Diabetes Canada or the SPCA St. John’s.
Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Ivy Sandra Langor 2022..
